be.Yoga provides ongoing Teacher Training Certification Retreats, accepting all levels of practice. Applicants should have a minimum of 1-2 years of yoga experience; however, each student will be assessed individually in regards to motivation, personal experience and objectives. It is optimum for participants to possess a positive attitude and the intent to evolve oneself, along with a willingness & enthusiasm to learn. Training retreats are scheduled annually, as well as an on-demand basis. The retreats are guided in a peaceful, natural environment, and the location varies.
be.Yoga offers 200hr training certification in Hatha and Ashtanga. A 500hr Hatha program is also available to our 200hr graduates. Students residing in the Delaware area have the opportunity to fulfill mandatory student-teaching hours at be.Yoga Studio.
Training retreats are kept small, which aids in providing a pleasant balance, individualized attention, and heightens the quality of absorption periods. The training is detailed and focused. Students-in-training share 180 hours of contact with be.Yoga Director, Melanie Collins, E-RYT®500.
While attending a retreat, the practice of yoga is constantly applied. As a group, you live the experience of yoga by learning, sharing, and practicing a variety of tools & techniques of yoga tradition. Though you’re amongst others, there’s also time provided for self-exploration; group exercises in silence are practiced, creating the opportunity to go inward for contemplation & clarity. The work is continuous....and it’s such enjoyable, delicious work!
After successfully completing your teacher certification training, becoming a RYT® (Registered Yoga Teacher) is an option for you; as our program fulfills the training standards of Yoga Alliance®. With this, your name and contact information is placed on a national list, recognizing you as a qualified, trained and certified practitioner & teacher of yoga.
